OMG. I'm so sorry. My tablet pen just broke. I'm not sure why it just stopped and it's not because of the battery. I tried opening it, but to no avail, it's not opening. Well, I'm not sure how your items go, but can I ask if they are cell shaded, gradient shaded, a mixture of both or none? If none, may I know how it was done? c: You can just PM it to me or something. c:

We use cell shading here on Ryupets. Cell shading is 2 or more layers of shade, + base color and one layer of highlights.

Perhaps one of the artists could make a tutorial for the applicants so they can see what is the style we are looking for

I know, I use cell-shading too.
I'm more particular on how they shade? I mean, at least how the flow of the shadow of the art goes because there's a big difference with particular artists. c:

Here it seems more pastel and smooth, like blended and the like kind of cell shading? Am I right? Emphasis on the folds? They seem gradient shaded but not at all. c:

Pastel and smooth is correct. It isn't gradient shading. =)

Edit: Just to make myself clear, I am an artist here as well as an admin, hehe.
